3 C. pecan halves
2 Tbsp. unsalted butter
1 1/2 tsp. cumin
1/2 tsp. cayenne
2 Tbsp. sugar
Preheat oven to 300° F. Melt butter in small saucepan. Add cumin and
cayenne and stir about 15 seconds. Add pecans and sugar. Stir to coat.
Transfer to cookie sheet. Bake until nuts are toasted, stirring
occasionally, about 20 minutes. Serve at room temperature. Can be stored for
use later.
