1/2 C. sugar
3 Tbsp. water
2 C. pecan halves
Preheat oven to 350°. Prepare large baking sheet.  Combine sugar and water in
medium saucepan and stir over medium heat until the sugar dissolves.  Boil
approximately 2 minutes. Add pecans and stir until well-coated. Spoon mixture
onto prepared pan, spreading evenly. Try not to have too much of the sugared
liquid on pan. Bake for about 13 to 15 minutes. Be careful to not over bake
and burn nuts. Remove tray from oven and allow nuts to cool. Once cool,
transfer nuts to air tight container.
