That means prepared-ahead, warm, thick soups and some easy to-do yummy pastas.  The soup below and chili can be made in advance, frozen and used when needed. Double the recipe, store in serving-size containers and  you will have a delicious  “defroster”  for  the snowy winter days ahead. Enjoy!
