1 1¼2 lb. lean ground beef
1¼3 C. ice water
season to taste
4 hamburger buns
Using your hands, blend water into beef. Season to taste and make 4
patties Do not pack too tightly. Broil about 3 inches from high heat
until having reached desired doneness. Place in bun with preferred
condiments and start chewing!
The secret to a perfect burger is the blending of a few tablespoons
of cold water into the ground meat before making the patties. Also,
the patties should not be cooked “airtight.”
Do not make patties too firm. By allowing for a looser patty, you
will get a juicier hamburger. All the better to eat!
Use above recipe, add 1 minced clove garlic and 1 Tbsp. Dijon
mustard to the ground meat. After patties are prepared, rub surface
of patty with 1¼3 C. mustard seed before broiling. |
