chunky chocolate chip cookies

2 1/2 sticks unsalted butter, melted
3/4 C. dark brown sugar
3/4 C. golden brown sugar
3 large eggs
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
2 C. plus 6 Tbsp. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate, cut into chunks
2 C. coarsely chopped pecans
Preheat oven to 325°. Beat butter and both brown sugars in large bowl. Add eggs, vanilla. Stir in flour and baking soda. Add chocolate and pecans. Mix.
Drop cookie dough by rounded tablespoonful onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake until golden brown about 15 minutes. Cool. Can be frozen and served cold.
