3/4 C. butter (1 1/2 sticks)
1 egg yolk
1 C. powdered sugar
2 C. sifted flour
1/4 C. milk
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 egg white
Sift together flour and baking powder. In a separate bowl mix vanilla and milk. Cream
butter and sugar together and then add unbeatened egg yolk. Beat together. Add flour and
milk mixture alternately to the butter mixture.
Beat egg whites and fold into batter. Drop a spoonful of batter onto greased cookie sheet
and bake for 15 minutes at 375°. Be sure not to over bake and burn. |
