1 3/4 C. cranberry juice cocktail
3/4 C. honey
1 cinnamon stick
1 tsp.minced fresh ginger
2 whole cloves
1/8 tsp. cayenne
1 12-ounce bag fresh cranberries (frozen can be used)
Combine 1 1/2 C. cranberry juice and honey in heavy suacepan.
Bring mixture to simmer, stirring until honey dissolves. Add
cinnamon stick, ginger, cloves and cayenne pepper; simmer 2
minutes. Add cranberries and simmer until berries burst and sauce
is thick, stirring occasionally, about 15 minutes. Remove from heat.
Add remaining cranberry juice. Stir and refrigerate.
Serve cold and spicey!
