Transitions Recognized at Annual Conference
for Superior Quality and Service

PINELLAS PARK, Fla. – ShopKo Eyecare Centers recently recognized Transitions Optical, Inc. as its Lens Vendor of the Year.  Each year, ShopKo honors companies that share in its common goals for driving business, initiate creative marketing programs and have an overall positive cooperative attitude.

“With the outstanding services and support that vendors like Transitions Optical provide, our company is growing every year,” said Don Bye, vice president of Optical Services, ShopKo.  “Our relationship with Transitions has been extremely positive, and ShopKo continues to flourish with Transitions® lenses as our photochromic of choice. The Transitions team is well-deserving of this recognition for its exceptional support and creativity.”

This prestigious award was presented at ShopKo’s annual conference in Green Bay, Wis., on April 28. Attending the conference were more than 250 optical managers and optometrists, and approximately 25 vendors, who demonstrated their products during the trade show portion of the event.

“Transitions is constantly striving to provide its customers with the tools and resources they need to be successful,” said Donna Vernier, senior account manager, Transitions.  “ShopKo is a great example of a company that has fully utilized each tool to successfully grow its business.  We are honored to be recognized for our efforts in providing quality service to our customers.”
